Environmental Cleanup Activities for 2025 New Spring
Carried Out with Members of Local Institutions and Organizations

The Yangpyeong County Council in Gyeonggi Province (Chairman Hwang Seon-ho) announced on the 8th that it conducted a large-scale spring cleaning environmental campaign on the 7th as part of the ‘2025 New Spring National Land Cleanup Movement’ event, together with members of local institutions and organizations.

The council members who participated in this National Land Cleanup Movement cleaned up illegally dumped trash that had been left along roadsides, vacant lots in residential areas, markets, and around bus stops, aiming to create a clean and attractive Yangpyeong County.

Before the event, Chairman Hwang Seon-ho and heads of various institutions and organizations read the ‘Resource Circulation Practice Declaration’ to express their strong commitment to environmental protection.

Chairman Hwang Seon-ho said, “I thank the institutions, organizations, and residents who participated in the environmental cleanup activities along with the pledge to practice resource circulation despite the early morning hours. We will continue to contribute to environmental protection and raising community awareness through various events.”
