Showcasing Innovations in Reused Battery Technology
Yangsan City, Gyeongnam, participated in the ‘2025 Inter Battery’ exhibition held at COEX in Seoul from March 5 to 7, together with Gyeongnam Technopark and Busan Technopark, to actively promote the ‘E-Mobility Industry Ecosystem Revitalization Project Using Reused Batteries’.
Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by KBIA, COEX, and KOTRA, this exhibition attracted 500 companies and 80,000 visitors. It featured displays of rechargeable batteries, materials, components, manufacturing equipment, as well as various side events such as conferences, business meetings, and seminars.
At this exhibition, local companies participated in the ‘Gyeongnam-Busan EV Used Battery Resource Circulation Pavilion’ booth operated by Gyeongnam Technopark and Busan Technopark, exhibiting prototypes related to the application of reused batteries in the E-mobility industry.
In particular, Inomechanics, located in Yangsan, received great attention by showcasing its prototype of the ‘Eco-friendly Rechargeable Smart 4-Wheel Electric Scooter’ developed through the 2023 business support program. In addition, advanced equipment such as reused battery pack diagnostic evaluation systems and quality assurance evaluation systems were also exhibited.
An official from Yangsan City stated, “Through the cooperation of Gyeongnam and Busan Technoparks and local companies at this exhibition, the promotion of reused battery products, related technologies, beneficiary company achievements, and established equipment was successfully carried out. This will pave a new path for the E-mobility industry and contribute to establishing Yangsan City as a leading city in the reused battery industry.”
