Consultation on Two Agenda Items Including
the Construction of an Observation Walking Deck within the Wangsukcheon Stream Embankment
Guri City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 7th that it held the ‘2025 1st Guri City Administrative Advisory Committee Meeting’ on the 6th at the Situation Room on the 3rd floor of City Hall.

About 40 members of the Administrative Advisory Committee attended the meeting, and two advisory agenda items were presented: ▲ Construction of an observation walking deck within the embankment of Wangsukcheon Stream ▲ Expansion of facilities and installation of convenience facilities at Imunan Lake Park.
In addition, through business briefings on two items?▲ Changes in elderly welfare policies in 2025 ▲ Expansion of free shingles vaccination for all Guri citizens aged 65 and over?the city promoted the updated administrative policies.
The advisory committee members listened to the project department’s explanations on the two agenda items and provided various opinions based on their experience and insights as experts in their respective fields.
Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri City said, “Although many difficulties are expected due to various domestic and international factors, we will do our best to serve the 190,000 citizens of Guri and build a self-sufficient city,” adding, “We will gather valuable opinions from the Administrative Advisory Committee to strengthen city administration further.”
Kim Jung-tae, co-chairman of the Guri City Administrative Advisory Committee, said, “The projects presented as advisory agenda items today will greatly contribute to making Guri City an eco-friendly city,” and added, “We will continue to work together with interest in city administration for the development of Guri City.”
Meanwhile, the Guri City Administrative Advisory Committee is composed of five subcommittees: General Administration, Environment & Greenery, Safety & Urban, Education & Culture, and Health & Welfare, and plays an advisory role on major city policies and current issues.
