First Downtown Duty-Free Store to Carry G/FORE After Incheon Airport Launch

Shinsegae Duty Free announced on the 7th that the premium golf wear brand 'G/FORE' has entered the Shinsegae Duty Free Myeongdong Main Store, becoming the first downtown duty-free shop to carry the brand.

G/FORE first opened at Shinsegae Duty Free Incheon Airport Terminal 2 in September last year and has been operating there. Recently, as the number of tourists traveling for golf to Southeast Asia, including Thailand and Vietnam, as well as China and Japan, has increased, the demand for golf-related products has also grown. Sales in January this year showed a 30% increase compared to the previous month, demonstrating strong performance.

With G/FORE's entry, Shinsegae Duty Free Myeongdong Store is expected to diversify its product categories by adding a premium golf wear brand to its existing lineup and attract a new customer base, including golf tourists. The G/FORE store is located on the 9th floor of the Shinsegae Duty Free Myeongdong Store.
