On the same day, former leader Han posted on social media (SNS), "You must have been very exhausted both physically and mentally," and added, "I hope you take good care of your health and are able to fully exercise your right to defense."
He also expressed that the decision to cancel the detention was appropriate. He said, "The law must be equal before everyone," and "Being the president should not result in greater disadvantages." He further stated his opinion, "If the court judged that there were procedural issues, I think the cancellation of detention is natural."
Additionally, he asserted, "The Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials, which caused confusion, should be abolished."
