Transported to Hospital After First Aid
An elderly man in his 80s, identified as Mr. A and presumed to be a supporter of President Yoon Suk-yeol, attempted self-immolation on the rooftop of a building.
According to the Namdaemun Police Station in Seoul on the 7th, Mr. A set himself on fire on the rooftop of the Urban Architecture Exhibition Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul, around 12 PM after distributing leaflets.
The leaflets were confirmed to contain messages such as "Long live President Yoon Suk-yeol."
Subsequently, a building official extinguished the fire with a fire extinguisher, and Mr. A was transported to Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital after receiving first aid.
A police official stated, "Mr. A is currently in a very critical condition."
