Dean Choi Kyuhwan Emphasizes the Value of the Human Network at Dong-A University
The Graduate School of Business Administration at Dong-A University (Dean Choi Kyuhwan) announced on the 7th that it held the entrance ceremony and orientation for the 59th class of the MBA (Master’s Degree Program) for the 2025 academic year.
The event, held on the 4th at Daw Hall on the Bumin Campus, was attended by Dean Choi Kyuhwan, Vice Dean Lee Kyunghwan, professors from the Graduate School of Business Administration, new students of the 59th MBA class, current students from the 57th and 58th classes, and President of the MBA Alumni Association Choi Imgeun.
During the event, Park Bongsu (58th class), president of the student association, donated 10 million KRW as the 58th donor in the DAUist Gift high-value relay donation campaign for the development and educational innovation of the business school.
In addition, there was a ceremony for the delivery of an in-kind development fund for the “Assignment Library Remodeling,” contributed by Hong Jiyeong, CEO of SR Design Company and senior vice president of the MBA 57th class student association.
Following this, new MBA students were provided with information on the curriculum, responsible professors, and academic operation schedules.
During the academic excellence awards for current students, Lee Seonguk (57th class), Choi Mijin (57th class), Jeong Haekyung (58th class), Lee Sangmin (58th class), Lee Seungik (58th class), and Ha Jihoon (58th class) received top honors and excellence awards for their academic achievements.
In the second part of the event, led by the student association, participants received detailed guidance on campus life and had time to build their network.
Dean Choi Kyuhwan said, “I sincerely welcome all of you who have become new members of our Dong-A family with big and lofty dreams. I hope you can achieve your dreams through the MBA program.”
Dean Choi also stated, “The greatest strength of Dong-A University’s Graduate School of Business Administration, which was established as the second in the nation and the first in Busan, is its human network. I hope you will experience the unique human network of Dong-A University’s Graduate School of Business Administration, which firmly supports the local community and economy, and think about and put into practice what you can do and contribute.”
