Busan Urban Corporation Selected as an Excellent Institution in Public Data Provision and Operation Evaluation

Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC) has achieved the highest rating of "Excellent" in the "2024 Public Data Provision and Operation Status Evaluation" organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

The "2024 Public Data Provision and Operation Status Evaluation" is conducted to assess the overall implementation level of public data provision and operation across a total of 679 institutions, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public organizations, and to provide feedback for policy improvement.

This evaluation reviewed three areas related to the implementation of public data policies by each institution: ▲Openness and Utilization ▲Quality ▲Management System, across 11 detailed indicators, and rated institutions in three grades (Excellent, Average, Insufficient).

BMC received excellent evaluations in each area, and was particularly recognized for its efforts to support data hackathons, promote private sector utilization through agreements with other organizations, and secure professional personnel.
