Training to Be Held from March 17 to May 21
Jeongeup City in North Jeolla Province is recruiting trainees for the 'Digital Step-up Academy'.
According to the city on the 7th, this recruitment aims to foster specialized personnel tailored to local industries by linking digital education such as AI (Artificial Intelligence) and computer coding.
This program is part of the '2025 Local Industry Customized Job Creation City and County Support Project', supported by Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province and Jeongeup City and implemented by the City Employment Support Center, with the goal of nurturing talent tailored to the digital sector.
The training will be held from March 17 to May 21 at the multipurpose education center of the Employment Support Center and is offered completely free of charge to job seekers who wish to become digital instructors.
Applicants can refer to the announcement posted on the Employment Support Center website and submit the application form and related documents via email by the 14th.
The city expects that this training, which provides a one-stop service connecting practical training applicable immediately in the workplace to instructor dispatch, will help alleviate local workforce shortages and expand the foundation of the digital ecosystem.
In addition, even after completing the training, the city plans to continue supporting trainees by providing opportunities to acquire relevant certifications and teaching practice, as well as connecting them with local institutions to work as digital instructors.
An official from the Employment Support Center said, "We will actively support local job seekers so they can enhance their employment competitiveness through practical digital education," adding, "We expect this training to contribute to fostering digital talent and creating jobs in the region."
