Ulsan City to Raise Only the Base Fare for Medium Taxis by 500 Won Starting on the 10th

Taxi Base Fare Set at 4,500 Won

The base fare for taxis in Ulsan will increase by 500 won, from 4,000 won to 4,500 won, starting on the 10th.

Only the base fare for standard taxis will be raised by 500 won, while the time-distance fare and surcharge will remain unchanged.

The Ulsan city government plans to promptly implement follow-up measures, such as ensuring that the adjusted fare is reflected in taxi meters within four days in relation to this increase.

In particular, to inform citizens, notices about the fare increase will be posted inside taxis, and until the adjusted fare is reflected in the meters, fares will be collected according to the fare conversion chart provided, minimizing inconvenience to citizens.

An official from Ulsan city stated, "We will do our best to improve transportation services so that the fare increase leads to noticeable improvements in service quality for citizens."
