The Gochang County Public Health Center in North Jeolla Province is recruiting surveyors to conduct this year's Community Health Survey.
According to the Gochang County Public Health Center on the 7th, a total of six surveyors will be recruited. Applicants must be adults aged 20 or older, capable of using computers and the internet (including personal digital certificates). Preference will be given to those with relevant work experience or familiarity with local conditions.
During this year's survey period, from May 16 to July 31, surveyors will visit selected residential households in Gochang County and conduct face-to-face interviews using tablet PCs. The survey will cover topics such as health status, medical service usage, and health-related lifestyle habits.
The recruitment period for surveyors is from the 10th to the 20th. Those wishing to apply should download the surveyor application form posted on the county website's notices, fill it out, and submit it in person to the Visiting Health Team of the Health Promotion Division at the Gochang County Public Health Center.
Yu Byungsoo, head of the Gochang County Public Health Center, stated, "As this is an important survey that forms the basis for establishing health policies in Gochang County, we ask for the active interest and applications of those who can carry out this work responsibly and diligently."
Meanwhile, the Community Health Survey is jointly conducted by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, Gochang County Public Health Center, and Wonkwang University. In accordance with Article 4 of the Community Health Act, the survey has been conducted annually nationwide since 2008, targeting 900 sampled households of residents aged 19 and older, in order to assess the health status of local residents as a nationally approved statistical survey.
