On the 7th, the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development announced that it signed a business agreement with Air Liquide Korea at the Global Startup Center (GSC) in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, to jointly foster startup companies in the eco-friendly energy sector.
Air Liquide, established in 1902, is a global leader in the industrial gas sector, leading innovation in hydrogen energy, secondary batteries, and gas analysis fields, and is committed to developing technologies for the transition from fossil fuels to eco-friendly and renewable energy. It also operates a deep tech startup incubation program called ACCELAIR.
Through this business agreement, both organizations will provide various startup support programs to startup companies and help innovative companies gain competitiveness on the global stage. In particular, by utilizing Air Liquide’s global network and infrastructure, they plan to support startups in the eco-friendly energy sector, such as hydrogen energy and secondary batteries, to improve technology and achieve business growth.
This business agreement includes ▲recruitment and selection of outstanding startup companies ▲support for product and service development and technology advancement of startup companies ▲support for startup companies’ entry into the global market ▲and establishment of mutual information exchange and cooperation foundations for other startup support.
Yoo Jong-pil, the president, said, “Through this business agreement, we have laid the groundwork to support domestic startup companies in the energy sector,” adding, “The Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development will spare no effort to support capable startups in leading global innovation through collaboration with global corporations and expanding into overseas markets.”
