The Gwangju Nam-gu Community Social Security Council announced on the 6th that Yangji General Social Welfare Center, located in Yangnim-dong, has signed agreements with seven administrative welfare centers to strengthen community welfare.
The signing ceremony was attended by the director and staff of Yangji General Social Welfare Center, as well as the heads and staff of the administrative welfare centers of ▲Yangnim-dong ▲Baegun 1-dong ▲Baegun 2-dong ▲Sajik-dong ▲Juwol 1-dong ▲Jinwol-dong ▲Hyodeok-dong.
This agreement was established to provide more comprehensive welfare services to residents. Each institution has agreed to cooperate to promptly support neighbors in need and actively identify those who may fall through the cracks of the welfare system.
Yangji General Social Welfare Center Director Lee Yongseong said, "I am pleased that this agreement allows us to approach local residents more closely and provide customized welfare services," adding, "We will continue to actively cooperate with the community to do our best to improve the quality of life for residents."
