Kiwoom Securities "Up to 90% Discount on Domestic Futures and Options Fees"

Kiwoom Securities announced on the 6th that it will hold the 'Domestic Futures and Options Commission Discount Event of up to 90%' from the 10th of this month to May 30.

The event participants are new customers and dormant customers. New customers are those who opened a futures and options account for the first time after the 6th of this month. Dormant customers are those who opened a futures and options account before the 6th and have not traded futures and options for six months. It is sufficient that there has been no trading since September 6 of last year.

The commission discount applies for two months after applying for the event, based on non-face-to-face accounts (only related institution fees are paid). If the trading amount exceeds 40 billion KRW in futures or 1.2 billion KRW in options during the application period, an additional two months of discount can be applied, allowing benefits for up to four months. In particular, the option extension contract standard was lowered from 1.3 billion KRW to 1.2 billion KRW. Also, among customers who received the additional period benefits, those who make their first futures and options trade during the event period will receive a cash reward of 200,000 KRW.

Meanwhile, Kiwoom Securities is conducting various events for overseas derivatives customers in addition to the domestic futures and options commission discount event. They are holding an overseas futures real investment competition and operating an event that offers a commission benefit of 0.7 USD per contract for new and dormant (3 months) customers. Additionally, there is an event providing a support fund of 50 USD for first-time trades to customers who have not traded US stock options.
