Jindo County to Provide 200,000 Won in Living Stability Support to All Residents

"Visiting Service" Begins on the 6th
Applications Accepted at Community Centers and More

Jindo County, South Jeolla Province (Governor Kim Heesu) announced on the 6th that it will provide a living stability support fund of 200,000 won per person to all county residents in the form of Jindo Arirang Gift Certificates to revitalize the stagnant local economy.

The recipients are residents who have been registered in Jindo County from the 13th of last month until the application date, including marriage immigrants and permanent residents staying in Jindo County.

The total amount to be distributed is approximately 5.7 billion won, and the gift certificates can be freely used at 1,600 affiliated stores in the county, including restaurants, gas stations, and supermarkets, thereby encouraging local consumption.

In particular, for the convenience of residents, public officials will visit community centers and other locations to accept applications and immediately distribute the support funds through a "visiting service" for two days from the 6th to the 7th.

The head of household or household members can apply by bringing their ID and seal, but household members can only receive their own living stability support fund. From the 10th to the 28th, representatives, including the head of household, can visit township or town offices to apply, and representatives must bring a power of attorney and other supporting documents.

The living stability support fund provided directly by the county is expected to contribute to revitalizing the local economy and to help residents who are struggling due to falling prices of agricultural and marine products such as abalone, gim (seaweed), green onions, and rice.
