Hongseong County Council Holds Meeting to Gather Opinions on Lifelong Education Policy Lifelong Education Related Agencies Meeting

The Administrative Welfare Committee of the Hongseong County Council held a meeting with relevant organizations on the afternoon of the 5th in the council's small conference room to gather opinions on lifelong education policies in Hongseong County.


Present at the meeting were Yoon Ilsun, Chair of the Administrative Welfare Committee, Moon Byungo, the council member who proposed the meeting, other committee members, and Kim Eunjung, Non-executive Director of the Chungnam Institute for Lifelong Education, among others. They exchanged a variety of opinions on lifelong education.


During the meeting, topics such as expanding job opportunities for lifelong educators, establishing public-private-academic governance to support lifelong education for slow learners, expanding parent education to address family issues, and systematic management through strengthened connections between lifelong education facilities were discussed.


Participants also shared opinions on various ways to vitalize lifelong education, including the need to strengthen the role of lifelong educators, promote effective policies through community collaboration, and facilitate information exchange among relevant organizations.


Yoon Ilsun, Chair of the Committee, stated, "It is most important that lifelong education welfare policies reflect the voices from the field," and added, "We will take into consideration the various opinions discussed at this meeting to explore policy directions related to supporting lifelong educators and review practical improvement measures."
