Feature Documentary 'Junstone Year One' Released on the 6th

Reform New Party lawmaker Lee Jun-seok criticized Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, for recently saying on YouTube that his arrest consent bill was a scheme orchestrated by some within the party and the prosecution, saying it reminded him of President Yoon Seok-yeol. On the 6th, Lee said on Facebook, "Having experienced many people in politics, the most dangerous type is not a wicked person or someone who only looks out for their own interests. It is someone who is delusional."

Regarding his past criticisms of President Yoon Seok-yeol, Lee said, "Before the impeachment, I used various metaphors like 'Eom Seok-dae' and 'The Emperor's New Clothes,' but the expression that most vividly revealed his danger was probably 'Don Quixote.' After becoming president, his delusions worsened. Just looking at the recent texts and KakaoTalk messages shows how easy it was for sycophants to slander someone, and how suspecting everyone ultimately led to his downfall." Watching Lee Jae-myung's recent remarks on a YouTube broadcast, Lee Jun-seok said he recalled a similar thought process, pointing out, "It reminds me of President Yoon, who, unusually in the world, claimed even the election he won was rigged and held grudges."

Earlier, on the 5th, Lee Jae-myung said on the YouTube channel 'Maebul Show,' "We had the (second) vote on the arrest consent bill, and I thought it would pass. Because I had heard something before," adding, "Looking at what the prosecution did during the investigation, the timing of their actions, the unofficial demands made to me within the party, and the proposals made through negotiations, it was all a prearranged scheme with some within the party."

Regarding this statement, Lee Jun-seok emphasized, "An important virtue for a leader is to see the world with an undistorted eye, make sound judgments, and propose creative solutions." He added, "But a leader trapped in delusions cannot see reality as it is, interprets all problems as conspiracies, and only plunges the country into chaos," and said, "I no longer want to see such delusional leaders in Korean politics." Finally, he added, "The rule of a delusional leader is too violent and tragic, from President Yoon nearby to Robespierre in the distant past."
