Following its selection as a pilot university in 2024, Dong-Eui University will operate the project for two consecutive years.
The Graduate Specialization Program Project is designed to provide intensive employment and training opportunities during the golden time period immediately after graduation, aiming to prevent prolonged job searching among youth and to facilitate smooth entry into the labor market.
The Dong-Eui University University Job Plus Center will receive a total project fund of 140 million KRW through this selection and plans to operate various employment competency support programs for unemployed graduates within two years after graduation. These programs include 1:1 customized consulting through job-seeking capability assessments, mentoring by current professionals in each field, and support for employment study groups.
Lee Cheol-gyun, Director of the Dong-Eui University University Job Plus Center, stated, “Through this Graduate Specialization Program, we will focus on strengthening the employment capabilities of unemployed graduates,” adding, “We will also strive to resolve youth unemployment and create a favorable living environment for young people in the region through cooperation with local companies.”
