The ‘Seoul Living Design Fair,’ the largest lifestyle and culture exhibition in Korea, featured over 500 companies nationwide and attracted approximately 250,000 visitors interested in domestic living trends. Yeoju Sejong Culture and Tourism Foundation participated for the third consecutive year, operating a comprehensive promotional pavilion that actively showcased the excellence of Yeoju ceramics while promoting tourism resources, festivals, and agricultural industry brands.
In particular, the joint brand of Yeoju ceramics, ‘Nanal_NANAL,’ garnered significant attention from visitors, enhancing brand awareness. The exhibition of diverse works from 22 local companies received high praise from many attendees, and numerous inquiries regarding distribution and collaboration are expected to lead to new market opportunities. Especially notable was the microwave-safe ceramic rice pot product ‘Hankki Sotbap,’ developed by Yeoju City, which was promoted alongside a tasting event featuring sweet potato rice made with Yeoju rice and sweet potatoes, effectively highlighting the excellence of Yeoju ceramics while achieving promotional success for local specialties.
Additionally, in celebration of the ‘2025 Year of Tourism in Yeoju,’ the foundation actively promoted the ‘Yeoju Ceramic Festival,’ scheduled to be held from May 1 to 11 at the Sinreuksa tourist area in Yeoju, intensifying efforts to attract tourists. Collaborating with the Yeoju Agricultural Industry Joint Brand Activation Center, the foundation also promoted outstanding local agricultural products and provided visitors with various hands-on experiences, receiving enthusiastic responses.
Lee Soon-yeol, Chairman of the Yeoju Sejong Culture and Tourism Foundation, stated, “Through this exhibition, we were able to showcase the excellence of Yeoju ceramics and achieve comprehensive promotional effects encompassing tourism, festivals, and agricultural specialties. We will continue to enhance Yeoju’s value and carry out diverse promotional and marketing activities to attract even more visitors.”
