The "Mobile National Ombudsman" is an on-site civil complaint consultation system where counselors from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and partner organizations visit Gwangju City directly to listen to residents' complaints and seek solutions.

The consultation areas for this "Mobile National Ombudsman" include all fields of public administration such as ▲administration, culture, education ▲welfare, labor, broadcasting, communication ▲industry, agriculture, forestry, environment ▲finance, taxation ▲housing, construction ▲urban water resources ▲transportation, roads ▲police ▲national defense and veterans affairs.

Additionally, residents of Gwangju City, as well as those from Hanam City and Yangpyeong County, can participate with complaints related to daily life difficulties such as social welfare and legal counseling, consumer damage, cadastral disputes, and low-income finance.

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and Gwangju City plan to operate a "consultation reservation system" for in-depth counseling and smooth resolution of complaints. Citizens who wish to receive consultation can submit an application form to the Integrity Investigation Team of the Audit Office at city hall by the 10th or visit Gwangju City Hall on the 28th to apply on-site for consultation.

Mayor Bang Se-hwan said, "The 'Mobile National Ombudsman' being operated this time will be a valuable communication channel to directly hear citizens' voices and seek solutions," adding, "We will continue to do our best to solve problems together with citizens and create a better local community."
