Gwangju Buk-gu to Support Small Business Owners with Card Fees... Up to 300,000 Won

Applications Accepted on a First-Come, First-Served Basis Until Budget is Exhausted

Gwangju Buk-gu is implementing the "Card Fee Support Project for Leased Small Business Owners," which provides support of up to 300,000 KRW in card fees for small business owners who are struggling due to the economic downturn.

Gwangju Buk-gu to Support Small Business Owners with Card Fees... Up to 300,000 Won Gwangju Bukgu District Office building exterior.

According to Buk-gu on the 6th, the eligible recipients are leased small business owners located in Buk-gu with annual sales of less than 100 million KRW last year. Buk-gu has allocated the largest budget among Gwangju's autonomous districts this year, with 430 million KRW, and will accept applications on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget is exhausted.

The support amount is 0.5% of card sales, up to a maximum of 300,000 KRW if card sales exceed 10 million KRW, and 50,000 KRW if below that amount. This year, the minimum support amount has been set at 50,000 KRW so that even small business owners who previously did not apply due to the low support amount can benefit.

Moon In, the head of the district office, said, "We are continuing to provide card fee support to alleviate the burden on small business owners who are struggling due to the economic downturn," and added, "As we have increased the effectiveness by setting a minimum support amount, we hope for many applications."

Applications can be submitted by referring to the notice on the Buk-gu Office website and visiting the Administrative Welfare Center or the Small Business Support Division at Buk-gu Office, or by email.
