Paju Travel Taxi, Meet at Half Price in March

First 10 Teams in March Receive 50% Discount
Half-Price Promotion Also Planned for May, July, and October

Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 6th that starting from the 15th, the first 10 teams using the Paju Travel Taxi will receive a 50% discount.

The current fee is 70,000 KRW for 3 hours, and eligible customers will pay 35,000 KRW after the 50% discount. The city plans to hold the half-price discount event starting in March, as well as in May (Family Month), July (Vacation Period), and October (Travel Month).

Additionally, in June, August, and November, customers who book for 3 hours will receive a coupon for 2 extra hours free of charge. Besides the fare discount event, travel taxi users will be given a 20% discount coupon for using the Imjingak Peace Gondola. Moreover, if tourists upload photos of tourist spots on social networking services (SNS), various events will be held such as giving away Paju’s mascot ‘Parang-i doll’ and ‘Parang-i cushion’.

The Paju Travel Taxi is a tourism transportation service designed to help visitors safely and comfortably enjoy various local tourist attractions. Six travel taxi drivers who have completed capacity building and customer service training have been appointed.

Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju said, “Through this half-price event and various other events, we will provide great satisfaction to tourists,” adding, “We will continue to enhance the joy of traveling in Paju with convenient tourism transportation services and lead the revitalization of the local economy.”

Tourists who wish to use the service can make online reservations on the Paju City Culture and Tourism website under Tourist Attractions (by course -> Paju Travel Taxi) or make advance reservations through the reservation center.
