Chungnam Shinbo Warns Small Business Owners Against Illegal Loan Brokers

Recently, illegal loan brokers targeting small business owners have been rampant, prompting the need for extra caution.

The Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation announced on the 6th that illegal loan brokers are causing damage by signing contracts under the pretense of tax, labor, or management consulting and then demanding fees.

In particular, these brokers do not directly arrange loans but instead sign consulting contracts and then impose excessive fees or demand high penalties for contract termination.

There have also been cases where they force the provision of unnecessary personal information, so caution is required.

Jo Sohaeng, Chairman of Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation, stated, "The methods used by illegal brokers targeting small business owners are becoming increasingly sophisticated," and added, "We will strengthen continuous publicity and preventive activities to ensure small business owners do not fall victim."

Meanwhile, Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation provides free financial consulting and management support to small business owners, and transparently guides all procedures related to guarantee consultations and loan applications through the official website and Himssen Chungnam Financial Support Center.

Small business owners are advised to always verify information through official institutions when seeking loan consultations or financial support, and to respond cautiously to suspicious offers or contracts.
