Cheonan City Appoints Kim Jungtae, Professor at Dongyang University, as Executive Director of K-Culture Expo

Will Oversee Seven Industrial Exhibition Fields

Cheonan City, Chungnam Province, announced on the 6th that it has appointed Kim Jungtae, a professor at Dongyang University, as the chief director and advisory committee member for the exhibition section of the K-Culture Expo, which will be held from May 21 to 25.

This appointment was made to strengthen the exhibition content and enhance professionalism. Director Kim will oversee seven industrial exhibition fields, including Hangeul and webtoons.

Professor Kim previously worked as a producer in the Multimedia Business Division at Samsung Electronics, served as the general manager of the G-Star International Game Exhibition, curator for Play Design at Seoul Design Week, and chief director of the Digital Chosun Game Ranking Competition, among other roles.

Director Kim stated, "We plan to engage citizens with a variety of Korean Wave cultural content programs."
