POSCO E&C Partners with Ascott, Daekyo New E-F, and Chaum Clinic for "Senior Residence Operation Collaboration"

POSCO E&C announced on the 6th that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) for senior residence operation cooperation with Ascott, Daekyo Newif, Chaum Clinic, and Cha Healthcare. The signing ceremony was held at The Sharp Gallery located in Jagok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Over the past two years, POSCO E&C has collaborated with more than 50 specialized service companies across various fields to secure senior residence operation capabilities. It established a service map segmented into 14 categories. Subsequently, it selected housing, care, and medical services as the three core services and discovered specialized companies suitable for these areas, leading to the signing of this business agreement.

Through this agreement, POSCO E&C will play the role of a control tower responsible for discovering senior residences and various forms of corporate rental businesses, as well as planning the overall operation. Additionally, it will develop and plan services by field through cooperation with each specialized company. It plans to establish a standardized service operation manual to be applied to future projects. The service will also be applied to rental projects under review for implementation within the year in Hannam-dong, Seoul, and Osan, Gyeonggi-do.

Ascott is the world's largest serviced residence and senior residence operator. Daekyo Newif is responsible for care services aimed at strengthening the mental and physical health of seniors by providing nursing program planning and dementia prevention educational content for the late elderly aged 75 and above. Chaum Clinic and Cha Healthcare provide high-end health checkups and anti-aging services.

A POSCO E&C official stated, “Through this agreement, we have formed a dream team for the senior residence business, completing the service provision network,” and added, “We will continue to promote specialized service development and strengthen cooperation with competitive partners in the future.”
