Participation in the 2025 Smart Factory & Automation Industry Exhibition
Hyundai AutoEver announced on the 6th that it will showcase its software-defined factory (SDF) solution, 'NeoFactory,' at the '2025 Smart Factory & Automation Industry Exhibition' to be held from the 12th to the 14th at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
SDF is a factory where artificial intelligence (AI) integrates and controls production, quality, data management, and more. NeoFactory is Hyundai AutoEver's SDF solution brand.
Through NeoFactory, Hyundai AutoEver aims to build an SDF that can agilely respond to changes in the '4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method),' achieve optimization of production capacity and production capital, and realize a flexible production system considering business circumstances.
At this exhibition, Hyundai AutoEver will set up a mini production line in the factory demonstration zone, allowing visitors to see how the production system operates by utilizing production equipment such as collaborative robots, vehicle-moving robots, and AI vision for exterior inspection. There will also be an experience zone where visitors can directly implement a virtual factory using digital twin technology and simulate it with augmented reality (VR).
Hyundai AutoEver has accumulated differentiated technological capabilities by carrying out projects to build smart factory solutions at Hyundai Motor Group's global production plants. Additionally, it is collaborating on the development of various SDF innovative technologies together with the Hyundai Motor Group Singapore Innovation Centers (HMGICs), a testbed for researching, demonstrating, and producing future mobility.
Jang Yeon-se, Executive Director and Head of Hyundai AutoEver's SDx (Software-Defined Everything) Division, said, "NeoFactory is a solution that consolidates over 20 years of experience and know-how that Hyundai AutoEver possesses. Through the customer-centric solution NeoFactory, we will do our best to help customers in various industries strengthen their manufacturing competitiveness."
