A total of 6-hour course covering key contents of the Serious Accident Punishment Act
and overall industrial safety topics
Lee Seunghwa, the governor of Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, completed the online video training for Safety and Health Management Officer.
This training is a mandatory job education based on Article 32 of the Industrial Safety and Health Act, targeting Safety and Health Management Officers who practically oversee and manage workplaces according to Article 15 of the same law.
County Governor Lee Seunghwa is receiving online training as a safety and health management officer.
The training, conducted by a professional instructor from Korea Comprehensive Safety Education, consisted of a 6-hour course covering the responsibilities and duties of management officers, industrial safety and health policies, key contents of the Serious Accident Punishment Act, and overall industrial safety topics.
Sancheong-gun plans to protect workers' health and safety and create a safe working environment through continuous education and support, including this management officer training and 16 regular worker training sessions annually.
Governor Lee Seunghwa stated, "This training provided an opportunity to encounter various cases related to safety and health and to familiarize myself with relevant laws, reinforcing my sense of responsibility for managing a safe workplace and ensuring the safety and health of affiliated workers."
