20 Small-Scale Water Supply Facilities Pass Water Quality Inspection
Sacheon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 6th that small-scale water supply facilities in the area meet the drinking water quality standards.
Small-scale water supply facilities are water supply systems used jointly by residents in areas where local or metropolitan water supply is not available, utilizing groundwater, etc.
The city announced that all 20 small-scale water supply facilities inspected during the "2025 1st Quarter Small-Scale Water Supply Facility Water Quality Inspection," conducted since February 10, received a satisfactory rating.
The inspection items included 15 parameters such as general bacteria, E. coli, fluoride, odor, taste, residual chlorine, and uranium, and the tests were commissioned to the Korea Water Resources Corporation, a specialized water quality testing agency.
Sacheon City conducts quarterly water quality inspections every year to provide residents with clean and safe drinking water.
A city official stated, "Residents using small-scale water supply facilities can drink with confidence," and added, "We will continue to do our best in facility and water quality management so that residents can drink safe and clean water."
