According to Namyangju City on the 5th, Mayor Joo requested LH's active review and swift progress on major pending projects related to the development of Wangsuk New Town, including ▲ the construction of cultural and artistic facilities in Wangsuk 2 District ▲ the restoration project for damaged areas in the 3rd New Town that satisfies citizens (establishing a plan for distinctive parks), as well as transportation improvement measures such as the prompt advancement of the Suseok Bridge construction project.

In particular, since Wangsuk 2 District is planned to be developed as a culturally vibrant city in collaboration with citizens, he explained the necessity of constructing a large-scale cultural and arts center, which had been absent until now, to meet the cultural demands of one million citizens, and actively requested support for this.

Mayor Joo Gwang-deok stated, “To achieve the policy goal of the 3rd New Town development project of 'transportation first, then residence,' I emphasized the smooth progress of major pending projects,” and added, “I also strongly requested LH’s close cooperation in establishing the foundation for the successful creation of an urban high-tech industrial complex and attracting companies toward a self-sufficient city, Namyangju.”
