NH Nonghyup Bank Gwangju Branch announced on the 5th that it delivered 89,290,070 KRW of partnership card savings, accumulated over the past year by Gwangju citizens and public officials, to Gwangju City at the March staff monthly meeting held on the 4th at the Gwangju City Hall Su-eojangdae Hall.

Since establishing a partnership with Gwangju City in 2003, a certain percentage (0.5% to 1%) of the usage amount of the Gwangju Love Card and subsidy cards has been accumulated and delivered as a fund for the development of Gwangju Love. The total funds delivered to the city so far amount to approximately 1.124 billion KRW.
The funds delivered on this day will be processed as non-tax revenue for the city and used for project expenses for Gwangju citizens.
Branch Manager Gu Pyeonghoe said, “We hope that the funds accumulated through the partnership with Gwangju City will contribute even a little to regional development, and we will continue to actively cooperate for the development of Gwangju City.”
Mayor Bang Se-hwan said, “The delivered funds will be used to enhance citizen welfare and regional development for a hopeful change and a happy city of Gwangju,” adding, “I hope that NH Nonghyup Bank Gwangju Branch will continue to fulfill its role as a regional bank and devote much interest and effort to the development of the local community.”
