National Korean Chunlan Flower Art Competition to Be Held in Taean on the 8th and 9th

To mark the beginning of the blooming spring, the 'Korean Cymbidium Orchid National Exhibition' will be held for two days on the 8th and 9th at the Taean General Indoor Gymnasium in Taean-gun, Chungnam.

Hosted by the Korea Orchid Association and the Korea Cymbidium Orchid Association, and organized by the Chungnam Taean Branch of the Korea Orchid Association, this event aims to widely promote the value of native orchids. It is expected to be a great opportunity to appreciate the beauty of orchid flowers that bring the hope of spring.

During the event, there will be exhibitions and evaluations of Cymbidium orchids, an awards ceremony, and displays of orchid-related materials. Cymbidium orchids will also be available for purchase at the 'Korean Cymbidium Orchid Special Sale' booth. The opening ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. on the 8th, and about 2,000 people, including event officials and visitors, are expected to attend.

An event official said, "In celebration of the 2025 Visit Taean Year, this national exhibition of floral art held in Taean will present the charm of Cymbidium orchids to both residents and tourists," and added, "We hope for the interest and participation of many people who are interested."
