The 'Gangjinpumae On Goonmin' system, operated by Gangjin County in Jeollanam-do (Governor Kang Jinwon), received a great response at the 53rd Gangjin Celadon Festival, recording a total of 2,423 new member registrations over the 10-day festival period.
According to the county on the 5th, during the revisit event held from the 1st to the 3rd, visitors who uploaded photos taken at the festival venue to the Gangjinpumae On Goonmin website were able to earn mileage points and had the opportunity to enter various prize draws.
The revisit event saw participation from a total of 180 people, providing a reason for tourists who had visited Gangjin County once to return to the festival. It is evaluated as having established a virtuous cycle that contributes to revitalizing the local economy.

At the Gangjinpumae On Goonmin promotional booth operated during this Celadon Festival, efforts were made to encourage new member registrations while offering various benefits within the festival grounds to those who joined. In particular, the discount and mileage accumulation events for cultural and tourist facilities operated by Gangjin County attracted significant interest from visitors and were successfully conducted. As of March, Gangjinpumae On Goonmin has a total of 7,824 registered members, continuing to foster a sense of connection with Gangjin.
Going forward, the county plans to continue operating promotional booths at the four major festivals (Celadon Festival, Hydrangea Road Festival, Hamak Festival, Gangjinman Dancing Reed Festival), including the Gangjin Celadon Festival, to establish and expand the Gangjinpumae On Goonmin system.
Meanwhile, through cooperation with national training teams and public officials from across the country, the county aims to strengthen ongoing connections with Gangjin and develop a variety of programs to encourage outsiders, such as former residents and tourists, to become part of Gangjin's resident population.
Governor Kang Jinwon stated, "The Gangjinpumae On Goonmin system is an important link between Gangjin County and outsiders, and the higher-than-expected number of new members at this Celadon Festival confirmed the potential of the system," adding, "We will continue to provide various benefits and promotional activities under the slogan of a hardworking Gangjin County, so that more people can form special ties with Gangjin."
Anyone wishing to form a special connection with Gangjin can register as a member on the official Gangjinpumae On Goonmin website at any time throughout the year. Upon registration, 5,000 mileage points are provided, which can be converted into Gangjin Sarang Gift Certificates (Chak). Additionally, various benefits such as discounts at local tourist attractions and experience facilities, as well as participation in festivals, are offered.
