Intel Korea held the 'Intel Tech Day Media Briefing' on the 5th at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, unveiling the new products 'Intel® Core™ Ultra 200HX' and H-series processors for notebooks.
The newly released product lineup is designed to deliver powerful performance suitable for high-performance and high-efficiency artificial intelligence (AI) notebooks, the company explained. They also highlighted enhanced P-cores and E-cores along with an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to boost AI acceleration performance, and significantly improved graphics and content creation capabilities with the built-in Intel Arc™ GPU.
The Intel Core Ultra 200H series features up to 16 cores, supporting up to 22% improved gaming performance, 17% enhanced single-thread performance, and 19% better multi-thread performance compared to the previous generation. It also offers AI processing performance of up to 99 TOPS based on the platform. The Intel Core Ultra HX series, equipped with up to 24 cores, supports up to 41% improved multi-thread performance and 10% enhanced single-thread performance compared to the previous generation HX series processors.
At the event, new laptops featuring the latest Intel AI PC processors were showcased, including Samsung Electronics' Galaxy Book5 Pro, LG Electronics' Gram Pro, as well as new models from Dell, Lenovo, Acer, ASUS, HP, and MSI. Alongside this, demonstrations of gaming performance, transcoding, and real-time video subtitle generation highlighted the excellent capabilities of Intel AI PCs.
