The Participation Group is an organization formed to discover small but valuable living empathy ideas in daily life and to propose policies closely related to everyday life. It was launched in 2009 as the Living Empathy Housewife Monitor Group. In 2013, it expanded to include men and was renamed the Living Empathy Monitor Group, and in 2019, it was renamed the Living Empathy Policy Participation Group. This year marks the launch of the 10th group.
At the launch ceremony, the event began with the presentation of appointment letters, followed by an introduction of the Participation Group, election of executives, and discussion of future activity directions. The Participation Group consists of 34 citizens from various occupations and age groups, including housewives, office workers, and self-employed individuals, and will be active for two years from March 2025 to February 2027 to contribute to the development of Changwon City's administration.
