2025 G90 Also Released
Genesis announced on the 5th that it will unveil and begin sales of the top-tier flagship model in the Black lineup, the 'G90 Long Wheelbase Black,' for the first time.
The G90 Long Wheelbase Black enhances luxury by applying a distinctive black color to both the interior and exterior of the vehicle. Following the previously released G90 Black, G80 Black, GV80 Black, and GV80 Coupe Black, customers can now choose the Black line for Genesis' top-tier model as well.
The exterior's black color makes the vehicle appear more majestic. It harmoniously highlights the curves and straight lines that make up the vehicle, emphasizing Genesis' design philosophy of 'dynamic elegance.'
Black color is applied to the front radiator grille and emblem, front bumper intake molding, lower rear bumper molding, window line (DLO) molding, and the side bezel inside the headlamps. It is also equipped with 20-inch exclusive black wheels with a glossy black finish and black floating wheel caps. On the rear, dark metallic-colored GENESIS lettering is applied to complete a distinctive presence.
The interior also elevates luxury with black-colored materials and features. All major buttons and switches, garnishes, steering wheel and paddle shifters, multifunction controls, and doorsteps are finished in black, and exclusive semi-aniline quilted seats are applied. Additionally, the cockpit and door trims feature black ash wood with brass color applied along the wood grain and incorporate a black-exclusive pattern.
Furthermore, the panoramic display features newly implemented welcome and goodbye animations, 2D and 3D vehicle images, and graphic themes. The smart key buttons and engine room cover emblem are also finished in black, adding a differentiated sensibility. The powertrain is offered as a single option: a gasoline 3.5 turbo 48V electric supercharger all-wheel drive.
Genesis also launched the model year update versions of the G90, the '2025 G90' and '2025 G90 Black,' on the same day. The 2025 G90 comes standard with a head-up display and offers the rear-seat smart entertainment system (ccRC) as an optional feature. This system improves resolution and enlarges the display screen compared to previous versions, while diversifying content.
The 2025 G90 Black expanded customer choices by adding a gasoline 3.5 turbo engine and 20-inch wheels to the previously single-spec option that only included the gasoline 3.5 turbo 48V electric supercharger and 21-inch wheels.
The sales prices, based on a 3.5% individual consumption tax, are ▲Long Wheelbase Black at 173.77 million KRW ▲Long Wheelbase at 166.47 million KRW ▲Black Gasoline 3.5 Turbo at 128.17 million KRW ▲Standard Gasoline 3.5 Turbo at 96.17 million KRW.
A Genesis representative said, "The G90 Long Wheelbase Black embodies Genesis' meticulousness in achieving perfect black," and added, "We ask for much interest in the G90 Long Wheelbase Black, the top-tier flagship model of Genesis Black."
