ICTK is showing strong performance. The news that it has launched and started mass production of the i511DN security chip, the world's first to fully incorporate the official PQC algorithm standard from the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), appears to be influencing its stock price.
As of 9:14 AM on the 5th, ICTK is trading at 9,860 KRW, up 21.73% from the previous day.
The i511DN (G5N) chip includes both FIPS 203 (ML-KEM) and FIPS 204 (ML-DSA), the official PQC algorithm standards. Through collaboration with Professor Dongguk Han of Kookmin University, Differential Power Analysis (DPA) attack defense technology was applied to further enhance security.
Professor Dongguk Han, an authority on side-channel attack countermeasures in Korea, stated, "Although PQC algorithms are resistant to quantum computer attacks, they are useless if countermeasures against side-channel attacks (SCA) are not applied." He added, "Security countermeasures against side-channel analysis are essential for cryptographic algorithms."
Major countries, including the United States, are transitioning to PQC-based protection for critical data by 2030. The U.S. plans to phase out current cryptographic technologies (ECC and RSA) by 2035. Experts predict that in Korea, PQC will become an essential application element alongside the zero-trust concept through the National Network Security Framework (N2SF).
Lee Jungwon, CEO of ICTK, said, "ICTK's security chip should be pre-applied not only to automotive security such as Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), but also to critical fields like safety, security, and finance, including smartphones, financial services, and cryptocurrency security." He added, "We expect to establish ourselves as a leading company in security standards for the PQC transition era through the i511DN (G5N)."
ICTK provides security chips for embedded systems and PQC libraries for server security, leading the rapid and stable adoption of PQC. ICTK will showcase its PQC security chip at the 24th World Security Expo (SECON & eGISEC 2025), held at KINTEX from the 19th to the 21st.
