Jeonnam Nonghyup Ranks First in Comprehensive Evaluation... Produces 15 Leading Agricultural and Livestock Cooperatives

Achieving the Highest Number of Awards for Six Consecutive Years

Jeonnam Nonghyup Ranks First in Comprehensive Evaluation... Produces 15 Leading Agricultural and Livestock Cooperatives NongHyup Jeonnam Headquarters achieved first place overall in the 2024 comprehensive performance evaluation. Provided by Jeonnam NongHyup

The Jeonnam branch of NongHyup announced on the 5th that 15 agricultural cooperatives from Jeonnam received awards and achieved first place overall in the 2024 Comprehensive Performance Evaluation conducted by the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (NongHyup) among 1,111 agricultural cooperatives nationwide. This marks the largest number of awards for six consecutive years.


This nationwide comprehensive performance evaluation was conducted by dividing the cooperatives into 40 groups based on location type and business volume, and then comprehensively assessing over 50 items including economic, credit, and educational support sectors.


The top award for first place in the comprehensive performance evaluation was given to: Gwangyang NongHyup (Gwangyang), Palyeong NongHyup and Heungyang NongHyup (Goheung), Okgwa NongHyup (Gokseong), Gongsan NongHyup (Naju), Seoyeongam NongHyup and Sinbuk NongHyup (Yeongam), Yongdu NongHyup and Yongsan NongHyup (Jangheung), Seojindo NongHyup (Jindo), Gyegok NongHyup (Haenam), Neungju NongHyup, Iyangcheongpung NongHyup, and Dongbok NongHyup (Hwasun), and Yeonggwang Livestock Cooperative (Yeonggwang).


The winners will receive a prize of 7 million KRW, a vehicle worth approximately 20 million KRW to support farmers’ practical benefits, and special promotion opportunities for employees. Notably, Gwangyang NongHyup and Seoyeongam NongHyup have been inducted into the Hall of Fame by achieving first place for five consecutive years.
