Gangjin County in Jeollanam-do (County Governor Kang Jinwon) held a meeting on the 2nd floor conference room of the Maryang-myeon Office on the 4th to ensure the successful operation of the 9th Maryang Noltto Seafood Market.
During the meeting, a professional instructor was invited to conduct a hospitality and hygiene training session to provide high-quality service and a sanitary dining environment for tourists. The session also included an announcement of the 2025 opening schedule, collection of suggestions, discussions on various program operations, and plans for discounted seafood sales.

Currently, Gangjin County is making improvements to the market, such as rearranging operational booths and maintaining facilities, reflecting the discussions from the meeting held in December last year. Additionally, two new businesses have been selected through the recruitment notice for Maryang Noltto Seafood Market operators.
The newly selected businesses plan to attract tourists by offering desserts made from local specialties such as rice oat financiers, strawberry dacquoise, and tohajeot bread, as well as seasonal seafood dishes like sashimi and hamo shabu-shabu at affordable prices.
Maryang Noltto Seafood Market has become a representative tourist attraction in Gangjin County and will open on Saturday the 12th. The opening ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM, featuring performances by seven popular singers, including An Seonghun, the TOP1 from Mister Trot 2, and Miss Kim, the TOP4 from Miss Trot 3, who will heat up the festive atmosphere.
In particular, visitors who apply for the 'Gangjin Anyone Half-Price Trip' program can purchase fresh seafood at discounted prices at Maryang Noltto Seafood Market, enjoy a variety of foods and activities, and receive up to 200,000 KRW in travel expenses reimbursed through the mobile Gangjin Love Gift Certificate.
Kim Yonggu, president of the Maryang Noltto Seafood Market Merchants Association, said, "All merchants are working hard for the successful opening of Maryang Noltto Seafood Market," and added, "We will do our best to provide visitors with the best service and fresh food."
Meanwhile, Maryang Noltto Seafood Market will operate every Saturday from the 12th until October 25, offering visitors the best food and a variety of hands-on experiences.
