Icheon-si to Accept First-Come, First-Served Applications for 1st Batch of 'Baby Cafe' Participants Starting from the 10th

Program Lineup for Pregnant Women, Infants, and Prospective Parents

The Icheon City Public Health Center in Gyeonggi-do is accepting applications on a first-come, first-served basis starting from the 10th for the first session participants of the 'Baby Cafe,' a program for pregnant women, infants, and prospective parents.

Running from the 1st to the 25th of next month, this program is divided into ▲Childbirth Preparation Class (25 participants) ▲Prospective Parents Class (30 participants) ▲Five Senses Development Play (12 participants). The Five Senses Development Play is further divided into groups for 6?12 months and 13?18 months.

Those wishing to participate can apply online starting from the 10th through the Education Portal - Course Application on the Icheon City Hall website.

The Childbirth Preparation Class includes lectures such as ▲Prenatal Travel A to Z ▲Making Peanut Rattles ▲Everything You Need to Know for the First 100 Days After Birth by a Current Nurse ▲First-Time Parent Role Couple Education.

In the Five Senses Development Play, activities include ▲Amazing pop tubes that stretch and shrink with sounds! ▲Bread crumbs made from bread! They smell good. Touch and feel what bread crumbs are like ▲Meet the Fiddler Crab! ▲Clean bath play before bedtime and sleep soundly! These activities stimulate senses such as sight, hearing, and touch, and help develop fine and gross motor skills through play.

The Prospective Parents Class covers topics such as ▲The importance of paternal prenatal care through first-time parent role couple education ▲The husband's role during delivery ▲Sexuality of couples during pregnancy.
