The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kang Eun-hee) announced the "2025 Local Government Employee Recruitment Examination Implementation Plan" on the 4th to fill personnel due to current demand and vacancies.
This year, the number of recruits by job category is 117 in total: 96 for Educational Administration (89 general, 5 disabled, 2 low-income), 12 for Librarian, 3 for Computer, 2 for Driver, 2 for Records Research, and 2 for Engineering (General Machinery).
The eligibility age is 18 or older (born on or before December 31, 2007), and applicants for the Driver category must hold a large vehicle driver's license and have at least one year of experience driving large passenger vehicles.
The application period for the 2nd recruitment exam for Educational Administration, Librarian, Computer, Driver, and Records Research categories will be held for five days from April 14 to 18, and the written exam will take place on June 21.
The 3rd recruitment exam for the Engineering category will be conducted for graduates (or prospective graduates) of specialized high schools and Meister high schools in Daegu city. The application period is five days from August 25 to 29, and the written exam will be held on November 1.
Applicants must submit a recommendation letter from the principal of their alma mater during the principal's recommendation submission period before the application period to be eligible to apply for the exam.
