Kim Seok-jun, a preliminary candidate who announced his candidacy for the Busan Superintendent of Education by-election, visited schools that started the new semester on the 4th to congratulate students on the beginning of the new school year.
At around 9 a.m. that day, Candidate Kim greeted and encouraged students braving the rain and wind as they arrived at Busan Haemaru School in Jeonggwan-eup, Gijang-gun, and at the front gate of Mojon Elementary School.
He said, "Last week, I announced an educational welfare policy package, including the '300,000 won support for elementary school admission preparation,' which is like family support," adding, "We will prepare and implement various educational policies that reduce the burden on our students and parents and care for students like family."
