NH Nonghyup Bank Transfers 74.8 Million KRW to Dongducheon City
Funds to Be Used for Hometown Scholarships and Other Purposes

Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyeong-deok) announced on the 4th that it held a fund transfer ceremony on the 28th of last month with NH Nonghyup Bank Dongducheon Branch (Branch Manager Lee Cheol-hyeon) regarding the usage amount of NH Nonghyup Bank affiliated cards in Dongducheon City.

The funds transferred on this day were accumulated throughout the year 2024, totaling 74.8 million KRW, which includes 57.93 million KRW from the use of Dongducheon City Hall corporate cards and 16.87 million KRW from welfare cards for public officials and others.

Dongducheon City and NH Nonghyup Bank Dongducheon Branch have an agreement whereby NH Nonghyup Bank accumulates 0.1% to 1.0% of the usage amounts of Dongducheon City Hall corporate cards, public officials' welfare cards, and subsidy cards as points and supports Dongducheon City with these funds.

Mayor Park Hyeong-deok of Dongducheon City stated, “The transferred funds will be used transparently for hometown scholarships and other purposes,” and added, “We hope that NH Nonghyup Bank Dongducheon Branch will also make their best efforts for the happiness of citizens and regional development.”
