Chef An Seong-jae, who served as a judge on the Netflix variety show 'Black and White Chef: Culinary Class War' (hereinafter 'Black and White Chef'), is reopening the fine dining restaurant 'Mosoo Seoul.' Meanwhile, the reservation prices for Mosoo Seoul have been revealed on a platform, attracting attention.

On the 3rd, the online reservation platform 'Catch Table' featured the reservation page for Mosoo Seoul. Reservations open from the 22nd, suggesting that the restaurant will resume operations on that day. The price is listed as 420,000 KRW for the Dinner Tasting Course. The corkage fee per table (for bringing in alcoholic beverages) is 200,000 KRW, allowing a maximum of one bottle of wine to be brought in.

Previously, Chef An opened 'Mosoo San Francisco' in the United States in 2015 and received a Michelin Guide 1-star rating within eight months. In 2017, with investment from CJ CheilJedang, he opened Mosoo Seoul in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Mosoo Seoul was also the only restaurant in Korea to be awarded three Michelin stars. However, Chef An announced the end of his partnership with CJ CheilJedang and a temporary suspension of operations early last year. In September of the same year, he appeared on 'Black and White Chef,' gaining great popularity for his logical and consistent judging comments and charisma.

Immediately after the show ended, he mentioned the reopening schedule of Mosoo Seoul in an interview with a fashion magazine. At that time, Chef An said, "We are undergoing renovation work. Architect Jo Min-seok, who designed the UK's 'Serpentine Pavilion,' is in charge." He explained, "It was not easy to preserve the charm of an old Korean Western-style house while adding a modern touch, so it took some time due to various considerations." He added, "Honestly, sometimes I think 'maybe we can do it a bit roughly,' but if it is at the same level as the previous restaurant, it would be meaningless. We must evolve unconditionally, so we are putting our utmost effort into it."

Later, on the 23rd of last month, Chef An posted a recruitment announcement for Mosoo Seoul on his social media. He said, "We are looking for all positions to join us as we start anew in our new home," and added, "If you are interested, please send your cover letter and resume to the email address. We appreciate your interest." The post attracted attention among netizens, surpassing 9,000 likes within a day of posting.
