Linked with the '2025 Travel Month' Campaign
Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province announced on the 4th that it will operate a variety of tourism promotion programs throughout March in connection with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's '2025 Travel Month' campaign.
This campaign aims to boost local tourism consumption and revitalize the domestic market, offering a wide range of benefits such as discounts on admission fees and accommodation, as well as SNS certification events.
The province, in cooperation with each city and county, will offer free admission and discounts at major tourist attractions, discounts on accommodation and tourist taxis, and tourism photo certification events. In particular, discounts will be provided for the following: ▲Jeonbuk Tour Pass 1-Day Ticket (33%) ▲Cafe Plus Ticket (30%) ▲Top 100 Tourism Souvenirs (20%).
Special events unique to each city and county will also be held. Representative examples include: ▲Jeonju Wansan Bunker The Space 1+1 event ▲Namwon Tourist Taxi 50% discount ▲Gimje Hygge Farm 20% discount ▲3,000 KRW discount on Rice Cake Making Experience.
There are also various accommodation discounts. In Wanju-gun, ▲Daeseung Hanji Village ▲Gyeongcheon Aein Village ▲Soyang Oseong Hanok Center offer a 20% discount on weekdays and 10% on weekends. ▲Soyang Gotaek and ▲Kongjipatji Hanok Resort offer a 10% discount, while ▲Hotel One (30% on weekdays, 40% on weekends) ▲Sansok Deungdae (20% on both weekdays and weekends) ▲Gosan Natural Recreation Forest (free admission in March) are also included.
Jinan-gun will run the 'Jinangowon Smart Tourism Promotion Event,' which provides travel expenses ranging from 10,000 to 100,000 KRW depending on the amount of tourism consumption. Other benefits include: ▲Sunchang Seomjingang Masil Camping Site (10%) ▲Sunway Glamping Pension (20%) ▲Gonggane Minbak Private Hanok Pension (additional 20% discount) ▲Gochang Beach Horse Riding Club Horseback Riding Experience (30%) ▲Buan Tourist Taxi (50%) and more.
There will also be consumer participation events. If you visit major tourist attractions in Imsil-gun and Buan-gun and certify your visit on SNS, 30 people in Imsil will be selected by lottery to receive a cheese set worth 40,000 KRW, and 30 people in Buan will receive a gifticon worth 5,000 KRW.
