The new member registration process was simplified, and the convenience of using point accumulation and easy payment services was improved.

The revamped Seven App received positive feedback from users during the beta test period that started on the 17th of last month. The daily active users (DAU) increased by 15% compared to the same period last month, and the number of new sign-ups rose by 20%. During this period, the average daily app downloads increased by 2.1 times compared to January.

To celebrate the launch of the renewed Seven App, 7-Eleven is holding various reasonable benefits and fun events under the theme ‘Lucky Seven Today’. As a first-use benefit of the renewed Seven App, a ‘Lucky Welcome Pack’ containing three discount coupons for ‘Seven Cafe Hot Americano’, ‘Same-day Pickup’, and ‘Pre-order’ will be provided immediately.

Additionally, users can receive ‘Today’s Lucky Box’, where L.Points, lunch boxes, and pre-order discount coupons can be won daily with a 100% random chance, and by completing Seven App usage missions, users can earn up to 700 L.Points.

VIP members receive various discount benefits both online and offline, including discounts on purchases and parcel delivery services.

Kim Min-jung, head of marketing at 7-Eleven, said, “This renewed Seven App focused on intuitively reorganizing core services based on analysis of existing convenience store app usage data and on the completeness of the customer shopping journey from app to store visit from an Online for Offline (O4O) perspective.
