From the 4th to the 31st
The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Kbiz) announced on the 3rd that it is recruiting cooperatives to participate in the 2025 'Joint Business Development Professional Consulting' support project to revitalize joint projects of small and medium enterprise cooperatives.
This project supports consulting costs up to 15 million KRW for cooperatives established under the Small and Medium Enterprise Cooperative Act, aimed at discovering and revitalizing joint businesses.
This year's project will be promoted in two fields: 'Joint Business' and 'R&D Project Planning.' Cooperatives wishing to receive support for joint business development professional consulting should form a consortium with a consulting firm and submit a project implementation plan to the Collaboration Business Office of Kbiz by the 31st.
Hyun Jun, head of the Collaboration Business Office at Kbiz, said, “In the case of the Korea Watch Industry Cooperative, which participated in the professional consulting project, they operate a nationally accredited watch testing institution and have expanded watch testing demand beyond the watch industry and public institutions to general consumers, thereby increasing the utilization of the testing facility and improving the revenue structure.” He added, “We expect that this consulting support will lead to the development of various business models that can enhance the competitiveness and revitalization of cooperatives.”
