Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Head: So You-seop) announced, "Saewool Unit 1 (Pressurized Water Reactor, 1.4 million kW class), which began its 5th planned preventive maintenance on December 19 last year, resumed power generation on February 27 and reached 100% output at 5:30 PM on March 2."
During this planned preventive maintenance period, Saewool Unit 1 underwent statutory inspections in accordance with the Nuclear Safety Act, replaced nuclear fuel, and performed maintenance and inspections on major equipment and facilities to enhance the safety and reliability of the power generation facilities.
