Earlier, Seoul Metro stated, "Due to crowd congestion related to the large-scale downtown rally, Line 5 trains have been passing through Gwanghwamun Station without stopping on both directions since 14:46."
On that day, near Gwanghwamun Station, the Korea Straightening Movement Headquarters, led by Pastor Jeon Gwang-hoon, held an anti-impeachment rally, while the Candlelight Action held a pro-impeachment rally. It is estimated that 65,000 and 5,000 people participated in the two rallies, respectively.
From 15:30, the five opposition parties, including the Democratic Party of Korea, will hold a 'National Rally Urging the Dismissal of Yoon Seok-yeol.'
