National Pukyong University Welcomes 460 International Freshmen from 39 Countries in the First Semester

On the 28th, Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-hoon) held an orientation for foreign freshmen of the first semester of the 2025 academic year at the university theater.

This semester, 460 foreign freshmen from 39 countries including China, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Japan enrolled at Pukyong National University.

The foreign freshmen will complete programs such as graduate school, undergraduate, exchange student, language training, and double degree courses starting with the orientation.

The International Exchange Headquarters of Pukyong National University (Head Seo Jae-cheol) conducted programs including a welcome speech, Korean cultural performances such as Taekwondo and K-pop dance, school introduction, and academic information guidance by course.

As of October last year, Pukyong National University has 1,752 international students from 68 countries enrolled in undergraduate, master's, doctoral, integrated master's and doctoral programs, exchange student programs, training courses, and double degree programs.
