Kim Bu-seon Claims "Lee Jae-myung Would See Martial Law as a Boon"

Actress Kim Bu-seon publicly expressed her support for former People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon. On the 27th, Kim Bu-seon said on her YouTube channel, "The current political scene is dominated by those from the judiciary," adding, "Lee Jae-myung, Moon Jae-in, and Roh Moo-hyun are all lawyers, and Yoon Seok-youl is a former prosecutor. Lawyers, prosecutors, and judges have all taken over politics, so why can't Han Dong-hoon?" She continued, praising the former leader, "(Han Dong-hoon) is not tainted like Lee Jae-myung, has no political debts, is young, and quick-witted." She then stated, "If Han Dong-hoon runs as Lee Jae-myung's rival, I will campaign to support Han Dong-hoon."

Especially moved by what Han Dong-hoon wrote in his book, Kim Bu-seon said, "I agree with his (Han Dong-hoon's) statement that 'Lee Jae-myung is the most dangerous person in South Korea,'" and claimed, "If that person (Lee Jae-myung) becomes president, I think he would try to kill me first." Furthermore, she said, "Because there are supporters who idolize Lee Jae-myung, making me out to be a liar is a piece of cake," adding, "I know very well how heartless that person is. I would never even visit Cho Kuk or Song Young-gil."
She also said, "Lee Jae-myung would see martial law as a boon and say 'Oh yeah~.' It's so disgusting," then criticized, "Still, during Kim Dae-jung and Roh Moo-hyun's time, there were many decent politicians in the Democratic Party. But now, when I think of Lee Jae-myung, all that comes to mind is him going to court and his name being shouted by his hopeless 'Gaeddal' (Lee Jae-myung's hardcore supporters, literally 'reform daughters') in front of the courthouse."
Previously, Kim Bu-seon declared her support for Yoon Seok-youl, then the People Power Party candidate, at the final campaign rally of the 20th presidential election and served as a supporting speaker. She also attended President Yoon's inauguration ceremony. Meanwhile, recently, Kim Bu-seon uploaded videos criticizing President Yoon and his wife on her YouTube channel following the December 3 martial law emergency.
When a netizen asked if she had not supported President Yoon in the past, she replied, "Because of the 'Gaeddal' who separated me from my family," explaining that her daughter received harsh malicious comments, which caused her to lose reason and support Yoon Seok-youl, who did not even pay attention at that time. She added, "I regret it every day. Because of that sense of debt, I continuously criticize Yoon Seok-youl." Regarding her relationship with Lee Jae-myung on her YouTube channel, she described it as "love-hate," saying, "I understand Lee Jae-myung. It was a long time ago, and since he has a wife and private life, I think he can deny it."
